Medical knowledge is expanding at breakneck speeds. Recognising this and realising that the Indian doctor works under constraints that deny him entry to easily accessible databases, the Society regularly conducts conferences, seminars and update programs for the busy practitioner. Now in its twentieth year, the Society is entirely independent and receives no grants or assistance from any public or private body.
